INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED
I am a circus artist with a background in high level gymnastics and modern dance. I use movement arts to share a narrative experience. Creatively, my work follows two distinct lines: (1) producing one-of-a-kind shows that use devised theatre and idea-centered thinking to create circus events and (2) I am infinitely curious about pushing the physical boundaries of what the human body can do - combining it with the strength, grace, and artistry of contemporary aerial arts to create complex work. This work draws implicit parallels between the human experience, philosophy, and physics while layering ideals of the emotional journey, critical theory and aerodynamics.
We offer a variety of yoga classes & ground based classes. Classes range from beginner to advance, in complimentary styles for climbers, and aerialists alike. Yoga combines movement to breath and develops strength, balance, flexibility and body awareness.

Also known as Aerial Hoop, students will learn movement, shapes and technique to create sequences below, above and within the lyra. Students will also begin to connect these sequences with a spin.

In this course, students will start by learning aerial conditioning movements to build a solid foundation for straps, such as straight arm inversions, skin the cats, nutcrackers, and meathooks. Advanced students will revisit the straps conditioning essentials while also exploring higher-level strength moves such as back flags, levers, roll-up, and muscle-ups. All of which are tailored to the student's pace and level. The aerial straps discipline requires a good deal of strength and primarily targets the shoulders and upper body. The course will help to increase your strength overall and serves as a great cross-training apparatus for any aerial discipline or climbing alike.
